Osteopathy

Osteopathy focuses on the innate relationship between the body's structure and function. By working to integrate the mechanical systems of the human body the practitioner facilitates our innate ability to self-heal and self-regulate.Osteopathy uses manual assessment and treatment guided by the principles set forth by its founder, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still. The three tenets that guide the practice are:1. The body is a dynamic unit;
2. The body is self-healing;
3. Structure and function are interrelated.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) originated in ancient China and utilizes treatments and understanding of the body created and refined over thousands of years. Influenced by Chinese philosophy, culture, science, and technology, TCM applies theories such as Yin and Yang and Wu Xing to understand the human body as an interrelated system of naturally opposing and balancing forces. TCM practitioners use tools like acupuncture, tuina, and herbal medicine to affect change in the body to affect positive change and bring balance and health.
